Local hip hop duo and long-time friends Kai Tan (MC) and Raphael Dixon (production) aka Jackie Onassis are proud to announce their first national headlining tour Smoke Trails. After a massive 2012 that saw the successful independent release of their debut EP, Holiday and international success of lead single Crystal Balling.
Tan and Dixon have their sights set on blazing new trails in the local hip hop scene. Kicking off on the 1st August in the Gold Coast the duo’s first upcoming solo tour consists of national dates scheduled in all major states. After only a few short months, the pair from Sydney’s Inner-West has added some major shows to their touring resume, playing a series of shows in London & Brighton’s prestigious Great Escape Festival, and Australia’s Big Day Out & Come Together festivals.
“So far, touring has been crazy. We’re only new to it, but we’ve been lucky enough to play to people all around Australia. Every place is different, but each time we come off stage we’re always blown away by how mad the crowd is.” – Kai
Jackie Onassis has rapidly developed a reputation for their energetic and exciting live performances, tightly-packaged lyrics, surging beats and dynamic production. This has led to them receiving widespread national and international critical acclaim.
