Sydney production duo Suburban Dark are set to release their new music video for their Grime anthem ‘What Ya Know About’ feat. Rapaport, from the album Second Front that they released on Big Village Records in 2013.
The music video is directed by music and fashion video director Ali Infinite and is a powerful vision that showcases the dark aesthetics of Suburban Dark’s infectious, brutal sound.
Suburban Dark’s acclaimed debut album Second Front won them accolades across a range of media described as “one of the most outstanding Sydney releases of the year” by Drum Media, Second Front was awarded Album of the Week by FBi Radio on the lead up to their release. Their unique sound of electronic beats combined with the lyricism of Thundamental’s Jeswon scored them heavy support from triple j with their first two singles Skeletonne and Mind Reader.
In related news, Suburban Dark have just finished a brand new remix of I Am Legions’ Make Those Move. The Make Those Move (Suburban Dark Remix) is lifted from the upcoming I Am Legion Remixes EP. Out June 17th.
