The second album from Melbourne emcee Illy has made a phenomenal impact in its first week of release, landing at #25 on the ARIA Album Chart and #4 on the ARIA Urban Chart. The album received a Triple J ‘Feature Album’ slot and the hit single It Can Wait (ft Owl Eyes) was the #9 Most Added track to radio (The Music Network) during the week of October 25th.
The Chase is fuelled by the blazing first single It Can Wait (ft. Owl Eyes) (#3, #4 most played on Triple J through the first two weeks of October 2010 and added to NOVA nationally) and is about the moments that define all the emotion and uncertainty in the pursuit of happiness. Three-Up Tour: Showcasing three of the country’s most talented emcees, the nationwide Three Up Tour brings Illy, 360 and Skryptcha to cities and towns across Australia starting this September. Fresh from the success of his Triple J Hottest 100 listed single (#66) Pictures and stints on the most recent Groovin’ The Moo festival, Illy is set to showcase hits from his debut album Long Story Short alongside brand new tracks from his much anticipated… second album The Chase. Melbourne rapper 360 came to the public conscience featuring on the Pez track The Festival Song and since has toured with the likes of Bliss N Eso and Drapht.
