The time has come to announce the winner of the 2013 Hilltop Hoods Initiative and after the competition received an unprecedented number of applicants, the judges have had their work cut out for them. After much deliberation and sorting through many very talented applicants the Hilltop Hoods have announced Chelsea Jane as the recipient of the 2013 Hilltop Hoods Initiative.
‘Chelsea Jane has rapidly gained attention both national and international for her recent verse on Atlanta’s ATLien Workshop’s “Enemy”. She is also known for her involvement as a guest judge at ‘Got beef’ MC Rap battles in Sydney and Adelaide. After seeding strong connections through her creative development journey with established artists in USA, Canada and UK, Chelsea Jane is more than ready to independently release her original music.’
Chelsea Jane will receive a career changing $10k, Shure prize pack and legal advice from Media Arts Lawyers all aimed at steering the artist in the right direction in order to take her musical career to the next level. Chelsea Jane releases her brand new EP titled Queen Of The Hill this Friday, March 29.
