Golden Years – Running On Air Live DVD

In May & June 2011 Bliss n Eso embarked upon a historic and record-breaking tour around Australia. Performing in front of over 60,000 fans across 14 individual shows, the tour went on to receive critical acclaim and cemented itself as the highest selling local hip-hop tour of all time.

Throughout the 2 months on the road the full-time film crew managed to capture some amazing moments across the various shows at some of Australia’s most iconic venues and unique locations.

A recent vote was held on Bliss n Eso’s Facebook page to decide what track would be released as a preview to the upcoming official DVD release. The hoards cast their vote and the track Golden Years was picked the winner. You can find out more information here.

Horrorshow – Did You Hear?

Did You Hear? marks the return of Horrorshow, one of the most exciting young hip hop groups in the country. Did You Hear? sees MC Solo paying tribute to some of hip hop’s greats whilst making some irreverent and humorous observations on the local scene.The production sizzles and sparkles under the careful direction of Adit with a little help from a blazing horn section.

It’s been another incredible year for the duo – they’ve programmed Rage, sold out countless shows, and rocked festivals nationwide – culminating in their main support slot for arguably the most successful local hip hop tour on record – Bliss N Eso’s Running on Air Tour. Horrorshow are well within the sights & ears of eager punters and starting to create some serious buzz amongst industry folk worldwide. 

This is the first taste of things to come from their third and much anticipated new album, set to drop in the second half of 2012.

Horrorshow – Public Consumption (Free Download) + New Merch

This is a brand new track called Public Consumption from Elefant Traks crew Horrorshow. This little gem was cooked up recently and has now cracked over 1000 downloads in less then 24 hours. Attending Fort Street High School, whose musical output includes Josh Pyke, Unkle Ho (The Herd) and Joelistics among others, both Solo and Adit were heavily involved in bands, ranging from jazz through to rock.

Along with fellow school mates and current One Dayers, Spit Syndicate, they embraced hip hop as the genre made big strides in Australia. Horrorshow have officially solidified their position in the ranks of Australias finest. Check out the new range of Horrorshow merch available at Groovin The Moo and the Running On Air Tour. Each item comes with a free bandtag download card which includes two unreleased acoustic recordings (American Girl and Waiting for the 5.04) from the recent show @ The Basement in Sydney this year. It also includes the brand new song Public Consumption as well as a few songs from the Inside Story and Grey Space albums. You can’t get these acoustic songs anywhere except this sick little card.

Bliss N Eso – Biggest ever national tour! The Running On Air Tour 2011

It’s been speculated about for months, and now its official. Bliss N Eso are taking their explosive live show on the road for their biggest ever Australian tour. After what was without-doubt their biggest 12 months ever, with a #1 ARIA debut, a platinum album, international touring, headlining slots on some of the country’s biggest festivals and main stage Big Day Out performances that blew tens of thousands away.

The trio are renowned for their spectacular audio-visual live experience that has set a new benchmark in the genre, and they promise that this will be their biggest and best tour yet, stepping up their already-extravagant live production in what will be one of the largest scale tours from an Australian act in years. Off the back of their Facebook competition to decide their route through regional towns, they’ll be setting up makeshift venues to cater for demand in locations like the courtyard of Old Mt. Gambier Gaol and Coffs Harbour Showgrounds generally only used for festivals.

All dates will be supported by Sydney’s soaring Horrorshow and Big B (USA). With the last three tours selling out nationally be sure to get in quick.
