The Espy is pleased to announce that it is once again opening its doors up to a night of all local hip hop. Raise The Roof IV picks up from where 3 left off, a colossal lineup showcasing the finest in established and emerging local hip hop. The first 3 instalments of Raise The Roof were a raging success, volume 4 is shaping up to be bigger then ever.

Featuring Funkoars, Lowrider, Vents, Def Wish Cast, Briggs, Mase & Mattic, Purpose, Death Stars, DJ Reflux, Remi, Eloquor, Soliloquy, Mu-Gen, Prequel, Slap618 and DJ Flagrant’s Aussie Hip Hop video show. Eloquor – Human Condition Video Clip

The sentiments strewn through Eloquors rhymes promote dignity and the importance of living life by your own design. One of the most persevering, hard-working emcees in the game; Eloquor has earned his stripes performing alongside industry heavyweights such as Pegz, Briggs, and the Hilltop Hoods.

Thematically Eloquor delves into some of the most pressing issues humanity has to face in the future. Despite the subject matter, his message is a positive one, urging humankind to use what they have and rise above the mindlessness and materialism destroying our international situation.

With two full-length LPs under his belt, the ethically outspoken emcee has spent much of 2011 slamming hype duties on the Pegz ‘Bombs Away Tour’ still managing to bring his new EP Human Condition to life. Eloquor’s live show demonstrates why he shares the stage with Australia’s finest.

Syntax, Breach and Whisper are In Good Company. The dynamic trio are seasoned word-slingers with a partiality for wordplay, stunning punch lines and sonic storytelling. Having recently performed on the VIC leg of the Mantra ‘Speaking Volumes Tour’, IGC return to the stage with their hyped full length show. Also joining the line up are Melbourne heavyweights 1/6 & Must,Tenfold and Slap618 spinning tunes throughout the night.

Eloquor – Human Condition EP

Melbourne’s Eloquor will be releasing his 7 track EP entitled Human Condition come early November. The ethically outspoken emcee has spent much of the 2011 slamming hype duties on the Pegz ‘Bombs Away Tour’ alongside Dialectrix, Joe New and DJ 2Buck, still managing to bring his own project to life despite a busy schedule.

The release credits contributing efforts from 1/6 and Pegz, production mastery from Suffa and Simplex, with featured cuts by DJ 2Buck and Slap618. The album is a banger, and will undoubtedly earn this hard-working emcee some new fans with its catchy hooks and inspiring sentiment. Watch this space for more details anticipating the release date!
