“‘Where Ya Been’ is a bit of fun at the expense of the people who are constantly asking about what’s going on. It feels like sometimes from the day an album is released, or a tour is finished, people are asking “where the fuck are you”, “hurry up and play our town” “what’s going on with a new album?”, and that’s awesome, but it’s still fun to take the piss out of. I wanted Pez on a track for ages, and this idea for a track, and Phazes beat, suited him perfectly, seeing as he’s been away for so long and gone through the exact same thing.” – Illy
