Nobody calls their mother as much as they’d like to. The last time I called mine was five weeks ago and that was only so she could remind me when my Dad’s birthday was.

Adam Briggs seems to have a much more connected relationship with his mum.

The Shepparton hip-hop ace has a pretty cool Mum too. Though she may appear on her son’s phone as Agnes Skinner, she’s a woman who cooks damper and ends phone conversations with “later”.

After a quick tour of his home Briggs allowed us to film a phone conversation he had with her. Watch the video here, then go and text your Mum to tell her that you will call her soon.
