Flip The Script Crewsin’

Flip The Script began as two hungover lads on a Sunday morning having a crack at busting out some rhymes. Half an hour later, after shouting into the MacBook mic, their first song Sunday Spittin’ was born.

The Sydney-based group distills Australian Hip-Hop sensibilities with Pro Era styled beats into the cynical glass that is university to create a taste of what Hip Hop could be. Formed in the dawn of 2014 in Sydney by Joe Bourke and Caspar Hardaker these two university students have got nothing better to do than speak their mind. And speak they did in 2014 when they dropped their debut mixtape BegGin’ which saw them play shows in backyards, universities and throughout Sydney’s Inner West.

BegGin’ also featured their popular track XL which was picked up by West Coast taste-makers Pilerats, a collective that has toured artists like Chet Faker and Flight Facilities, in their fortnightly upcoming talent article 5 UNDER 500. The boys also picked up radio support for Breezin’ from East Side Radio and 2015 looks to continue this trend. Indeed, with the release of the second mixtape, Crewsin, you’ll want to keep your eye on what Flip The Script do next.
