Dex is launching his Something to Say Mixtape @ Laundry Bar

Aussie rapper Dex is launching his “Something to say” mixtape at Laundry Bar, Fitzroy on the 10th and 11th of April 2015.

The first show will be for 18+ patrons and the second show will be an underage performance, featuring local acts such as Eloji, Chevy Levett, Boilermakers Narly, Dimmy & Sam Edwards. Having already released two mixtapes under his belt, “The Intersection” & “Twisted Words” Dex is excited to release his third “Something to Say.”

“Something to Say” is not your ordinary mixtape, it features a more positive and uplifting message over some chilled hip-hop beats. Dex is the new generation of hip-hop. He’s doing everything we’ve ever dreamed of doing at just 16-years-old. Proudly representing what the younger generation think and feel, and making a stand to get their voices heard.

Whilst Dex may be young, his attitude to inspire and encourage his audience with captivating beats and lyrics will see him take over the hip-hop scene. Even one of his maths teachers came to see him perform. He first started rapping in May 2012 with his first release “Holidays,” which gave him critical acclaim and respect of his peers. Deriving from influences by fellow Aussie hip-hop legends Hilltop Hoods, Bliss N Eso, 360, Mantra and Thundamentals.
