Eightfold (Talakai & James Trigz) Queen Of Hearts

The pair both were doing solo projects and performances in Newcastle & Sydney, they both share a likeminded vision musically and joined forces in preparation for their duo project emerging in 2015, Eightfold.

Talakai kicked off his solo career in 2013 playing shows at local venues around Newcastle from the age of 18 and making his name known amongst the local scene with an energetic live performance, in his first year of performing he shared the stage with local heavy-hitters Prem Bedlam & Johnny Utah, triple j breakthrough artists Mr Hill & Rahjconkas, Golden Era Records pocket rocket K21, Broken Tooth Entertainments Fraksha & Scotty Hinds and Ciecmate, and also Hip Hop heavyweight Scribe, with his hit ‘Not Many’.

Meanwhile, James Trigz was getting a buzz from his first few releases via soundcloud and also his outstanding freestyle videos, he started performing mid 2014 and has been known to bring incredible energy to his performance, the pair have both been creating quite a buzz for themselves as a duo act.

Eightfold are set for their debut later in the year – Today, we have a brand new track from the guys. The new promo track titled Queen Of Hearts with it’s electronic inspired production handled by Rook Milo, the track comes together with it’s cohesive rhymes and versatile flows.
