Push Over 2011

Victoria’s longest-running all ages live music festival Push Over returns with a killer line-up of upcoming Aussie talent, the freshest young Victorian acts, some of the country’s most fast and furious hardcore and metal bands and a full arena of bouncing hip hop music and break dance!


Firing thriller beats across four sound stages will be Melbourne’s: Anchors, Children Collide, Deez Nuts, Dream On Dreamer, Hopeless, House Vs Hurricane, Trainwreck, Metals, Oh Mercy, Owl Eyes and 2econds, plus Howl and Gold Fields from Ballarat, I Exist from Canberra, Brisbane’s Violent Soho and Last Dinosaurs, Gisbourne’s Stonefield, The Storm Picturesque from Newcastle and Perth’s Break Even and Young Revelry.

In the hip hop arena, alongside headliners, Illy, 1/6 feat. MzRizk, The Tongue (Sydney) and Thirdworld, will be 3-on-3 Breakin’ and 1-on-1 MC Battles, plus the Push Underground Hip Hop Showcase featuring: Defon & Illyak, Filosopher and Mixed Alliance, and your host Yung Philly.

As well as featuring all your fave upcoming Aussie bands, Push Over will showcase the freshest young Victorian talent in the FReeZA Push Start Battle of the Bands Grand Final with nine bands from across the state battling it out to be crowed the 2010-11 Series Winner – including Amber Lamps, Blackwater Riff, Cass Ward, Emerson, Kyrano, Passport For Amy, People of the Sun, Rizen Enemy and The Fire Alive.

Push Over is a fully supervised all ages drug/alcohol /smoke-free event, open to  8-12 years (with an adult guardian) or over 12 years (without).
