2011 has been a BIG year for the lyrical powerhouse, Dialectrix. Riding on the success of his second solo album, Audio Projectile, which was released in late 2010 (produced by Plutonic Lab), D-trix continued to smash the airwaves with hit singles Pieces of a Puzzle and Whut!.
Along the way he encountered some career highlights including his live performance on Triple J’s Like A Version, where he and Pluto remade the classic Spiderbait track Buy Me A Pony. He also showcased his live skills to numerous cities as part of the Audio Projectile Tour, with label mate Pegz on his Bombs Away Tour, and also shared the stage with some of the finest acts in the country at various festivals and major shows including Hip Hop Hooray, Sounds Loud Festival, Manifest, Raise The Roof, Full Noise Festival, Golden Days Festival, Life’s A Beach Festival and the Obese Winter Block Party. Other great live moments included Dialectrix supporting overseas Hip Hop legends including Doom (aka MF Doom), De La Soul & Prince Paul and more.
Throughout the year, Dialectrix has also been starting production of his upcoming third solo album, teaming up again with the very skilful Plutonic Lab. Most importantly, Dialectrix has entered the world of fatherhood, with the birth of his handsome son Lucius. Now with even more reason to hustle, Dialectrix is ready to unleash his new album in the first half of 2012. Big things are expected in the year ahead from this double-time, tongue-twisting emcee… and he is ready to exceed all expectations!
