Jackie Onassis were one of the stand out highlights at this years Great Escape Festival in Brighton. Opening with a midnight slot at the premier Green Door Stage followed with a packed afternoon slot at Concorde 2.
With BBC Radio 1 support already in place Jackie Onassis were one of the “Buzz bands” in Brighton, So no surprise when they were asked by Organisers to play an unprecedented 3rd Encore set on the festival outdoor stage on Sunday night to close out this years festival. Coming hot off the back of a UK run of 8 shows in 6 days including a killer debut show at London’s Legendary ClubNME at KOKO followed by performance at Yo MAMA which was the first time a local Hip Hop act had hit the stage at this infamous Shoreditch night.
It’s clear why this unsigned new school Hip Hop Duo have A&R teams in Sydney and London in a old school frenzy!
Jackie Onassis also played singles Crystal Balling and Smoke Trails in a live set brimming with inner west confidence and subtle beats at Come Together Festival held yesterday at the Big Top, Luna Park in Sydney with Drapht, Illy, The Herd, Spit Syndicate, Allday and many more.
