Chance Waters – Looking For Something feat. Patience Hodgson

Looking For Something is Chance Waters newest single, and first with Island Records Australia. The song, a trademark duet with Australian vocalist Patience Hodgson (The Grates) captures Chance’s depth of song writing and knack for unforgettable pop hooks.

With an up tempo, nostalgic backbeat produced by One Above and peppered with lush strings and horns Chance playfully muses on the idea that home is where the heart lives, or at least it doesn’t require a visa.

Chance hails from Sydney’s inner west and is an outspoken vegan and self-confessed internet addict. He has established a uniquely recognizable brand of hip hop backed by intelligent lyricism and delicately layered production.

In 2012 Chance Waters released his acclaimed sophomore album Infinity. He was nominated for Unearthed Artist of the Year at the 2012 J Awards and his video for second single Maybe Tomorrow feat. Lilian Blue was voted #7 in the 2012 rage fifty. Chance then proceeded to secure not one but two entries in triple j’s Hottest 100 with Maybe Tomorrow (#89) and Young & Dumb feat. Bertie Blackman (#45).
