Queanbeyan hip hop crew Stik N Move took out the award for Most Promising New Talent In Music at the 2013 Deadlys earlier this week. Stik N Move have been performing their edgy brand of hip hop and spreading their empowering message for less than a year and are currently recording their debut EP with ARIA winner/producer DJ Danielson who has recently started joining rappers TooDeadly and Whiz onstage for their live shows.
“This is just the start! Pre-season is done and we’re coming out for Round 1!” said TooDeadly aka Nathan Carter of the win. “Sovereign unity and love is the way forward.”
Stik N Move have a free mixtape available for download via their Facebook page here, and their debut EP is due for release later this year. Their next live show is opening for Sydney’s Mind Over Matter at Captains in Batemans Bay on the October long weekend.
