As an exclusive premiere for their fans, to “support the homies that support us” Blues Mountains via Newtown hip hop trio Thundamentals have leaked Noodle Soup and an accompanying clip.
Noodle Soup takes the concept of small-minded hip hop “beefs” and stirs up a sonic and lyrical response that proves Thundamentals don’t just think outside the [noodle] box, they blow it up. Pushing the boundaries of what hip hop in this country is capable of and continuing to deliver thought-provoking production and big-picture thinking, Noodle Soup is special delivery from the trio’s forthcoming third album So We Can Remember, which drops early next year. The clip for Noodle Soup acts as a sequel of sorts to the trio’s clip for current single Smiles Don’t Lie which, since its release in August, has now pipped a quarter of a million views on Youtube. The Smiles Don’t Lie clip was both Channel V and Rage TV’s ‘Clip Of The Week’ upon its release as well as just last week being nominated for a J Award for ‘Best Music Video’.
