The Hated Colours EP

Life is crazy. Life is colourful.

Riding high off the back of their debut EP Lords Life and their Splendor in The Grass appearance last year, The Hated are back readying their forthcoming EP; Colours. Initially birthed as a trio The Hated have streamlined in their 3rd year, becoming a duo. Rap partners Leeze the Kid and Don Vitale have discovered a fresh and refined sound in their music.

The Hated have reunited with buzz-worthy producer C1 for their new single Light Up For Me, a hazy, ambient-rap tune with a light and airy female vocal sample that sets the relaxed tone. The laid back tune is accompanied by some beautifully shot visuals in the boy’s hometown of Byron Bay.

Their EP Colours has just been released today, Colours is a sonic expression of The Hated’s true colours. Leeze and Don are all about peace, love, skateboarding, partying, weed and good times and their distinctive raps and melodies are saturated with these influences.

On the production front, the boys have recruited some of Australia’s freshest and most innovative producers; Hamley, DJ Butcher and C1 (Cheifs). You can grab your copy now by following the links below, or using the player above.
