Allday has announced that he will be giving lucky fans a ride on a bus for a mobile early listening party for his new album Startup Cult, which will be released on July 4 via ONETWO. The announcement was first made earlier today on triple j’s Like A Version segment, where he performed an incredible cover of the classic Never Tear Us Apart by INXS and a live rendition of his new single Right Now.
Allday is well known for being honest and close with his rapidly growing fanbase. A quick glance over his social networks will see the young rapper constantly interacting and conversing with his fans, and the mutual adoration between fan and artist is ever present in everything he does. He is currently performing a completely SOLD OUT national tour that has seen some of the most enthusiastic fans in the country pack into clubs around Australia to sing every word in his live set, and mob the Melbourne based rapper after the shows in crazy scenes.
And now you can get even closer to Allday. On June 24 and 25, he will be picking up a busload of fans in Sydney and Melbourne and putting on a mobile listening party, giving them first listen to his new album. More than a week before release, these fans will be the first to hear the songs, and will get an in depth and behind the scenes look into how they came about.
Allday had the following notes to the lucky few about what he’s doing. “I’m going to fill a bus with fans and we are going to drive around listening to my debut album ‘Startup Cult’. It’s not out until July 4th so you guys will be the first ones to hear it. You can ask me questions about it or whatever, I don’t know. We’ll just hang out. That’s basically it!”

Allday’s Startup Cult is out on July 4. The new single Right Now and its video can be viewed on YouTube. Pre-Orders for the album are available on iTunes where you can hear the track Cult instantly, or via JB Hifi Online and 24 Hundred, which have a series of pre-order options.
