Semantix Cold Plains EP Out Now!

Semantix are an Australian hip hop crew from the A.C.T consisting of two emcees, Adam and Matthew Higgins (Aplus and Mattrix), drummer Seain Ward (Obsene) and DJ Rhys Dennewald (DJ Danggers). All four have been passionate about their hip hop from an early age.

Semantix was formed early in 2012 and hip hop hasn’t been safe since! Semantix are members of the Capslock Collective out of Canberra and since forming they have supported some of the biggest names in local hip hop; Funkoars, Briggs, Spit Syndicate, Def Wish Cast and many more. They also supported U.S. artists Blu and House Shoes earlier this year. Semantix have just released their debut EP titled Cold Plains EP. The brand new EP is one of the hottest EP’s we’ve seen drop this year, a testament to the work they’ve put into this one.

To celebrate the guys are throwing a launch party at Transit Bar on Friday July 4th, which will include an awesome line up of local support acts including Context, Nix, Jimmy Pike and Keech. The event will be hosted by Hayds and it is set to be an epic night!! Doors open at 8pm and is $10 Entry, over 18’s only.

Semantix – Cold Plains EP will be available on Bandcamp shortly, for now stream below.
