Perth based hip-hop artist with a twist Marksman Lloyd has just dropped a new single with You Won’t Be The One and it’s an absolute earworm! Also featuring the vocal talents of Whisky Winter, the track is taken from Marksman’s forthcoming EP Rewrite The Ending due out September 12 via Firestarter Distribution.
Following on from his nationally spun debut EP Lions on the Beach along with this years Silver Magic Ships single and video, Marksman has jumped into another league with this track and is set to announce Spring/Summer dates in support of the cycle shortly.
Inspired by socially conscious artists like Atmosphere and Black Star, Marksman has crafted a style of music focused on changing the way we look at the world we live in. A love of poetry has also lead Marksman to showcase his works at numerous spoken word events resulting in numerous appearances and runner-up honours at the Australian Poetry Slam at the Sydney Opera House.
