Lights, Sounds & Come Downs is the first full length release from Melbourne based, rapper, Justified.
Like a see-sawing rollercoaster ride, Lights, Sounds and Come Downs takes you through the highs and the lows of the life of an aspiring emcee. It often raises questions about mortality, motivation, choices and restrictions but yet maintains the type of ‘oomph’ you’d expect from a 60 inch kicker. This is exactly what people didn’t expect to hear come out of the south-east suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.
Clocking in at just under an hour, the release contains 12 tracks of original material and features some serious talent. Big T appears courtesy of Rawlab Entertainment, while artist and producer Notion found time in between working on a top 10 charting album (Cee – This Is All I Know) and opening up for hip hop heavyweights Hilltop Hoods abroad, to show love courtesy of The Movement Fam. Up and comers Stannard (Victoria) and Shug Brainless (ACT) show why they’ve got people intrigued and the small selection of producers that worked on the album give it a continuous, unique feel.
