‘Rewrite the Ending’ is the new single and title track off the latest EP from Perth’s rising star, Marksman Lloyd. The successful launch of the EP just this September, saw the release crack into the top 20 iTunes hip hop charts while accompanied by a national tour.
‘Rewrite the Ending’ sees Marksman adding a head nodding, summer banger to his already energetic repertoire, with stellar production from Creed Birch and mind bending cuts from Rob Shaker, the single sets itself apart from the type of hip hop emerging from Australia at present.
It follows hot on the heels of Marksman’s most recent single and impactful video ‘You Won’t Be The One’, that garnered widespread radio support including triple j. The anthemic, synth driven production from JL as well as soaring vocals from Whisky Winter are the perfect companion to the uplifting, and brutally honest raps from Marksman that are dedicated to the underdog and anyone fighting to be heard.
With a resume that now boasts shows in the U.S and Singapore, Marksman has shared the stage with international artists Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Brother Ali, Action Bronson, P-Money and Blu & Exile as well as also supporting Australian luminaries like Drapht, Illy and Horrorshow.
This body of work has set the course for Marksman Lloyd, helping him to make waves across the country and develop an ever increasing fanbase along the way.
