Rise is the new single from Badtjala MC, Birdz. Recently signing onto Briggs’ label, Bad Apples Music, Birdz describes Rise is “an ode to overcoming adversity and an introspective that draws from my experience as a son and as a young father.” Enlisting the soulful prowess of prominent Hip Hop artist and good friend, Jimblah on the song’s hook,  Birdz delivers his most honest account to date. 

Produced by Joelistics, the anthem sees Birdz elevate to new heights as both songwriter and formidable artist in Australia’s music scene. Reflecting on intergenerational knowledge and perspective changes that happen along the way, Rise is ultimately about finding the strength to take flight no matter what life throws at you.
