Delivering powerful, politically-charged rap, Floridian Denzel Curry is bringing his raw hip-hop to Australia for the first time this January.
Ringing in the New Year with an appearance at Origin NYE Festival, Denzel will be taking over Sydney’s The Basement on January 4 before hitting Melbourne’s The Toff on January 5. Tickets for both shows will go on sale at 12pm this Friday, October 28. My Live Nation members can be amongst the first to secure tickets during the exclusive pre-sale beginning tomorrow, October 27 at 10am.

Hailing from Carol City, Florida, his content is radical and his mission simple – full creative control to generate organic and uncensored music with a strong message. Integrity intact, Curry’s only response when asked about his interest in signing to a major label is: “what the fuck can you do for me that I can’t do for myself?”
Since leaving a promising crew to fly solo, Curry has started his own label (C9 Is The Future) and has been described as mixing ‘the rawness of 2Pac with the uniqueness of OutKast’. After spending the majority of last year finishing his follow up double EP “32 Zel / Planet Shrooms” and touring all over the world, Denzel is making it his mission to prove why he is here to stay and a threat to the industry.
