Dinner is served. Raekwon has released his seventh studio album, The Wild.

A true legend in the world of hip-hop, Raekwon has made a name for himself as one of the most dynamic and iconic names in the game. His seventh album “The Wild”, is the latest in a storied career, solidifying his place in the Hip Hop Hall of Fame. Twenty-two years since the release of seminal “Only Built for Cuban Linx”, The Wu-Tang Clan member continues to blaze a fresh trail of innovation and integrity, showing no signs of slowing down.

The Wild is a 16-track album with features from Lil Wayne, G-Eazy, Andra Day, CeeLo Green and P.U.R.E. It’s also got some great production from the J.U.S.T.I.C.E. League, Xtreme, G Sparkz, and more.

In a recent interview, Raekwon spoke about his new album and the meaning of the title.
“The title, The Wild, represents the times that we’re in and the vibe I’m getting from what I’m seeing going on in the world,” he says. “And it’s me expressing my energy from the wild side. When you look at the title, it’s kind of self-explanatory. I look at today’s industry as being a jungle. There are different rules.”

To celebrate this release, Raekwon has teamed up with SUBPAC to create a unique and exclusive collaboration. A new category of audio technology, SUBPAC profoundly enhances the traditional music experience by allowing users to physically feel sound waves flow through them.

“The sonic and lyrical impact of Raekwon’s music will now be felt throughout the body. Full physical immersion is the future of how music will be experienced,” explains SUBPAC co-founder John Alexiou. Once “The Wild” is activated, users will feel the boom of the drums pulse through them, different notes in the basslines hit different areas of the body, feeling a fully immersive high-fidelity music experience as if they were right there in the studio.

Only 15 custom units have been created and will be hand delivered to supporters and lucky fans. The limited edition SUBPAC features a Custom SUBPAC M2 optimised for the album, lossless WAV audio files and headphones.
