If it’s been anyones year this year, it’s been Manu Crook$’. Having released his debut EP ‘mood forever’ back in August of this year, things have only been looking up since then.
We first heard of Manu, back in 2015 and since that time we’ve been keeping a close eye on this talented young emcee/creative. Raised in Ghana and now residing in Sydney, Manu is backed by a hugely talented team including go-to producer Dopam!ne, Miracle and more. You can usually find his tight clique working under one roof at Dream Factory Studios. In the past, Manu has talked specifically about how he likes to keep his team small and work with only those who he “…can vibe with”.
Today, we are bringing you the brand new single from Crook$, titled Presence. The new track features Anfa Rose who is also coming off a massive 2017. Anfa recently released a absolute banger of a single, titled ‘Substance’. The new track was produced by DOPAM!NE & Halp and is available to steam on most platforms.
“I’m just doing me. I’m not trying to be the next superstar out of Australia. I’m doing things my own way – I’m fairly limited when it comes to doing interviews, you don’t really see me out much, I drop music when I want. There’s certain moves that I do that are different to other people. That’s the formula: just do you” – Manu Crook$
The new track, Presence croons along on moody styled trap production and has both emcees vibin’ on this summer night inspired beast. You can stream the brand new track via Spotify below. Let us know in the comments section below, who you think had a massive 2017?
