Today, Nike is excited to announce the launch of the Air Max 270; the latest innovative iteration of Nike’s iconic Air Max sneaker. From February 1st, they will be available for Australians at Nike.com.au and select retailers for $220.
This is Nike’s first lifestyle shoe to utilise 100% Air technology, typically reserved for running shoes, making them a unique choice that offers the style of a sportswear shoe with the rigorous support of a performance shoe. Inspired by classic Nike designs such as the Air Max 93 and the Air Max 180, the sneaker offers a modern reimagining of these staple styles.
Already adopted by sporting stars such as Kevin Durant, the Air Max 270 represents a new wave of lifestyle shoes that retain their style without compromising comfort.
• The elevated sole offers increased heel volume displacement, for unbeatable air cushion comfort and support
• The shoe is inspired by the Air Max 93 and the Air Max 180 (The name 270 comes from an internal Nike epithet for the Air Max 93, which referred to the 270 degrees of visibility in the air unit).
Expect the 270 Max Air unit to make an appearance on a variety of silhouettes in 2018 — and in a breadth of colour too.
