With bouncing brass and love in his heart, B Wise delivers his biggest song to date, ‘The Key’, here to remind us what is really important.
Growing from strength-to-strength, B Wise has nothing to do but smile. ’The Key’ shines effervescent with energetic joy oozing from every note. Self-reflective and incredibly personal at it’s core, this vibrant new single from the young Western Sydney rapper carries a simple central message.
In B Wise’s words, “’The Key’ is about our basic need to crave love, human touch and admiration. It can often be taken for granted, and when it’s gone, it’s easy to feel lost and isolated.” Premiering on triple j Good Nights on Tuesday, February 13th, ‘The Key’ is produced by Uno Stereo (aka Nic Martin), who is recently credited with co-producing Khalid’s ‘Cold Blooded’, off his Grammy nominated album American Teen.
The Key lands off the back of his late 2017 release ‘Feel Something’, setting B Wise up for one of the biggest years of his career thus far. After a solid 12 months in the studio writing, he has eased back into the live circuit with a quiet confidence, recently tearing down the Block Party stage at St Jerome’s Laneway Festival Sydney.
Next up he’ll be doing support duties for US megastars Future & Young Thug, before hitting the road with Thundamentals for a mammoth 33 date (and growing) regional tour. With an impressive forthcoming body of work under his belt, it’s clear the only way is up!
