Intensely personal new single Naked Heart is out now

One of the most recognizable voices in Australian hip hop, Thundamentals MC Tuka, is ready to unveil his first solo music in more than two years.

Lifting the covers off new single Naked Heart with a premiere on triple j the other night, Tuka says, “I’m really excited to announce that after 2 and a half years I’ll be releasing some new solo music. It’s a stand-alone song called “Naked Heart” and it’s produced by myself and a very good friend of mine “JCAL”. It also has additional vocals by local Sydney talent Jannah Beth. 

The song itself is a deeply personal track about someone very close in my life, and about the type of relationship we share. I guess it’s another one of those songs where life reflects art. It’s dark but real, probably the most raw and emotive track I’ve ever written. To be honest, I really can’t wait to see how people respond to this one.”

Naked Heart follows his acclaimed third solo record, ARIA #6 album ‘Life Death Time Eternal’.
