B Wise glides through a vibrant wonderland in new video, touching on themes of loneliness and our common need for human connection. ‘The Key’ is a visual feast of colour and the joys of togetherness.
Working again with the undeniably talented Jaén Collective (‘Feel Something’), B Wise reveals the visuals to his massive new single ‘The Key’. Set in an abandoned gaming hall, the bright lights and endless fun laid out in front of B Wise is overwhelming, however the magnificence is dampened by his solitude. He explains, “‘The Key’ is about our basic need to crave love, human touch and admiration. It can often be taken for granted, and when it’s gone, it’s easy to feel lost and isolated.”
With these themes in mind, the video switches gear when other characters start to emerge, reaching its height with an explosion of movement, as energy becomes more and more infectious.
‘The Key’ has seen incredible support from fans and critics alike, added to high rotation on triple j in its first week, the bouncy track also found itself in Shazam Future Hits. Following on from the hard-hitting, introspective ‘Feel Something’ landing at the end of the year, B Wise has a clear trajectory this year… Up and up!
Currently visiting every corner of the country, B Wise is on support duties on the regional Thundamentals tour, playing in front of thousands of new eyes and ears every week. Wrapping this mammoth run up in early June, he will head back into the studio to put the finishing touches on his debut album (more on this soon) and rehearsing for his show at this year’s Splendour in the Grass!
