Top Dawg Entertainment Recording Artist’s Third Album Due Out Later This Year

Top Dawg Entertainment recording artist Jay Rock has shared his new single “WIN.” Released via Top Dawg Entertainment/Interscope Records, “WIN” is set to appear on Jay Rock’s third album, due out later this year.

Earlier this year, Jay Rock released the lead single from his forthcoming album: “King’s Dead” ft. Kendrick Lamar, Future, and James Blake. The track also appears on Black Panther: The Album – Music from and Inspired By. Produced by Mike WiLL Made-It and Teddy Walton, “King’s Dead” was hailed as one of Jay Rock’s best performances to date by Pitchfork, who noted that “[h]is flow moves at a furious pace but his tone is laidback, as if his regal wordplay is totally off-the-cuff.”

Born in the Watts neighbourhood of Los Angeles, Jay Rock made his major-label debut with the 2008 single “All My Life (In the Ghetto)” ft. Lil Wayne & will.i.am. His first album Follow Me Home arrived in 2011, and featured appearances by Kendrick Lamar, ScHoolboy Q, Rick Ross, and Ab-Soul. Released in September 2015, Jay Rock’s sophomore full-length 90059 debuted at #16 on the Billboard 200.
