Sydney drill rapper Snoee Badman and producer Utility share the first single ‘On The Map’ from their new collaborative Mixtape #3badman
Snoee Badman has been on his grind for well over a decade now. Although Snoee has been incarcerated since 2011 and is due for release in November 2021, this hasn’t slowed down his process to record music and build up a considerable buzz in the local scene. His Instagram page has built a cult following and is constantly shared by artists such as Huskii, Kerser, Nter and many others.
Utility is known for productions that are icy, hard-hitting and original. His uniques percussive style has been the backbone for tracks with the likes of HK x Rick, MA Rated, KDM On The Track, Lil Jaye & Eco$ystem and US artists El Plaga (LA) and Butch Dawson (Baltimore). Utility Regularly executive produces projects with Sydney-based freestyle channel ‘AVTV’ and October 2019 established Trackwork, a platform to curate and put out unique, project-specific releases. Utility produced young Indigenous rapper T Breezy’s first release ‘2360‘ featuring singles ‘Posted’ and ‘Origami’ gaining rotation on FBi Radio. Upcoming projects include collaborations with DZHeep (on No Jumper), and Namz (Section 60)
‘On The Map’ is the first single to release off the #3Badman mixtape and will have an official music video releasing in early May.
As a testament to the hard work of both artists Hau Latukefu premiered ‘On The Map’ on his Thursday night hip-hop show on April 23rd. This is the second track from Snoee that has been premiered on the hip-hop show in as many months. Snoee & Utility also secured two prominent playlist placements with ‘On The Map’, a mean feat indeed.
Sydney legend Gunsta also paid his respects to the hustle:
