Homeboy Sandman is set to release Hallways, his second full-length album on Stones Throw Records. It is an ode to the space between where you are and where you are headed; a space in flux, and a space where Sandman himself noticeably thrives in this release. He wanted to simply call it Cassette, released only on tape, designed by Jeff Jank to look like a pack of Marlboro cigarettes – no CD, no vinyl, no digital. The massive single The Come Up Pt. 1 is the only track on Rap Album One to feature a vocal guest, Scoop DeVille – best known as producer for the likes of Kendrick Lamar, The Game and Snoop Dogg.
