2011 was a big year for In Good Company – Three distinctly unique individuals fusing their respective styles together to produce a hybrid self-titled LP. Consisting of Syntax, Breach and Whisper, the dynamic trio are seasoned word-slingers with a partiality for wordplay, stunning punch lines and sonic storytelling.
In Good Company the self titled LP, released last year featured an assortment of impressive vocal contributors including Eloquor, Mantra, Ginger Van Es, Boltz and Skyzoo (USA) and additional production highlights from heavyweights M-Phazes, Jase, J Smith & Dutch, and Joe Lewis.
The single The Road feat. Ginger Van Es produced by Whisper, is an electronic bounce filled anthem paying homage to the trials and ills of manoeuvring through a sea of love and self-doubt, set to a back drop of heavy rhythmic drums, and sweet harmonies from Melbournian songstress Ginger Van Es.
The trio landed a support spot on the Victorian leg of Mantra’s – Speaking Volumes tour, as well as bringing the house down at their own album launch in Melbourne alongside labelmate Eloquor. With a remix EP, more video clips and plenty more shows on the way, In Good Company hope 2012 is just as productive.
