Crymziko – Corrosive Oversound

Crymziko
(pron.  Crim-Zeeko) is a twenty year old emcee born and raised in Wollongong, Australia.   He has been honing and mastering his craft in hip-hop for over seven  ears, firmly placing his name among the ranks of Australia’s underground scene.

Having played with and opened up for some of the biggest names in Aussie Hip Hop ( including Downsyde, Drapht, Thundamentals, Pez/360,  Mind Over Matter, Phatchance and more), he has made a name for himself on the local scene and plans to aim for bigger and better things on a national level. With his overall diverse style, sharp tongue and venomous flow, Crymziko is an up and comer in the independent circuit.

After a year of writing and recording several tracks, Crymziko’s debut mixtape/promotional street release, Corrosive Oversound (recorded, mixed and mastered by Phatchance), is now available and has been circulating the streets in high demand prior to the official release of Crymziko’s forthcoming debut EP.

One of the tracks from the mixtape, Badder Than Me, reached national success in January 2010 by climbing to #1 in Australia in the Triple J Unearthed hip-hop charts, where it remained for three consecutive weeks. Another fan favourite from Corrosive Oversound, Where’s My Money Gone?, also managed to reach #4 on a national level.

The rapper from The ‘Gong delves into many subject matters which benefit to his raw, witty yet brutally honest rhymes. Whether it be expressing his views on introspective awareness or creating a menacing street banger; Crymziko unleashes it all in a completely different, catchy and versatile fashion which places him in reach of breaking out nationally.
