Mid-way through a huge 21-date national tour, Illy has taken time out to shoot a video for his second single (and title track) from his acclaimed album, The Chase.

Filmed over two nights with Melbourne’s skyline as a back-drop, the clip compiles live and behind-the-scenes footage of the emcee’s rise to the forefront of Australian hip hop over the past two years. In a unique twist, the footage has been projected on a large scale upon the walls of some of Melbourne’s landmark buildings, while Illy looks on from a Flinders Lane rooftop. Illy said, “Shooting the video for the chase was a bit of work, a couple of late nights. But we had a good team behind it, and i think the final result speaks for itself. Check it out.”

Having already performing to a long list of packed and sold out venues so far, Illy’s The Chase tour continues.  He makes his way to Adelaide, then back to play second shows in both Sydney and Canberra, followed by 5 shows in WA.
