Born from an Indonesian father and a white Australian mother, Sydney resident Mr. Clean aka Andrew Wiradilaga, has been doing his thing in the Sydney scene since the late 90’s. Finding his name with stable crew Ear Infection which consisted of Sleeping monk, APEX (R.I.P) & Az One.

Around the beginning of local Hip Hop’s prominent rise to radio and othe forms of media, Mr Clean became a proud father to his 1st born son. Rap took a back seat, it wasn’t until 4 years later that a combination of elements brought him back to hunger. The rise of his friend and producer Katalyst and the buzz of certain artists, you could probably say it was a mixture of support and frustration that pushed rapping back to the forefront of his mind.

So now a father of 3, yes 3, another two beautiful daughters, Mr Clean is defiantly back for some hard yak. He has been the guest on some notable local releases, including Celcius’s 1st album, Dirtbox Kings mixtape and the extended version of All You’ve Got on Katalyst’s – Whats Happening 12 inch. Mr Clean also appeared on Katalyst’s latest studio album Deep Impressions. The track Black Dragon had been hand picked by triple j’s head honcho Richard Kingsmill and is now getting a little extra play. Mr Clean has just come off national tour with Katalyst & Steve Spacek.

Mr Clean has been working on a full length album for the past two years and it is nearly complete. Working with producers Katalyst, Colourd Noyz, P Money, Sandro & Smokin Jodes. His new video Hard Yak b/w Casket is the 1st single off the forth coming album due out mid 2012 entitled With A Vengeance. With many more things to come please give it up for the blue collar salesman, Father and Sydney spitter Mr Clean, some say better late than never… and in this case it is an ultimate example.
