B.V.A is an Adelaide based artist who has been part of the Australian hip hop scene for an inordinate amount of time. In the late 90’s he started his group Mnemonic Ascent with DJ Ransom & Raph Boogie (Melb). They later went on to start the independent record label Crookneck which released a slew of quality records.

As a rapper he has guested on many records over the years and as a producer he has had the pleasure of collaborating with an extensive list of the who’s who of Australian hip hop. Portrait Of A Monster is the 1st single taken from the first official solo release from Austrailian hip hop pioneer B.V.A’s – Answers Loss Question Love due for release early 2013.

Guest appearances on the record include Jimblah (Elefant Tracks), Suffa (Hilltop Hoods), Til The Break and K21 Production duties are pretty much exclusively handled by B.V.A himself.
