The Son is the brainchild of one of Sydney’s favourite DJs under a different alias, giving him an outlet to create brand new music that lives in a not to distant future through an accompanying comic.

Set in the year of 2027 where corporations control everyone through a data cloud world called Evo, the comic follows the adventures of protagonist Cal as he patches into Evo embodying the character The Son. Each track released by The Son is accompanied with an official comic as the story of Evo unfolds. Music and comic lovers alike will also have the opportunity to see each comic brought to life through a motion-comic and a live-action video.

The first single for The Son More Fire featured Aussie band Bluejuice. In this issue readers are introduced to the comic book world, seeing The Son battle a two-headed virus called Vitriol, whilst also being treated to a high-energy soundtrack. The second single All I Know brings a collaboration with one of Australia’s most respected emcees 360, and the adventures of Cal aka The Son continue as he crosses paths with Hammerhead.

The debut album for The Son is currently in production and will see collaborations with an array of Australian talent. Issue 2 of the comic is out now and video clip for All I Know is due for release next week!
