Lane-Harry x Ike Campbell sign with label Human Records drop free album

Thought provoking lyrics, prodigious production & tranquil vocals collide to form Lane-Harry x Ike Campbell, the forerunners of Alternative Hip-Hop in Australia making waves worldwide. The duo formed in early 2013 and discovered success almost instantly through their first release The Jesswar & Lane-Harry EP, a 6 track collaborative EP with popular Gold Coast rapper Jesswar.

The EP reached #16 on the Australian iTunes Chart and the momentum from Lane-Harry x Ike Campbell has not stopped since. The duo went on to release Love & Terror Cult, their debut studio album, on November 22nd to much anticipation after releasing a controversial single entitled Jesus, as well as previews for three other songs on the record. Love & Terror Cult was the second hit release from Lane-Harry x Ike Campbell, peaking at #35 on iTunes, which is an extremely credible achievement considering both Lane & Ike have not yet reached their twenties.

With public support and praise from artists such as 360 and multiple ARIA award winner Matt Corby, the 19 year olds are making a massive mark on the music industry in such a brief period of time and after 11 months of existing the duo signed a two year record deal with Human Records whom they will be releasing their second and third studio album through.

Aside from their own shows, which include a headlining Australian tour in 2013, the duo have supported some of Australia’s most significant Hip-Hop acts including Allday, Spit Syndicate, Jackie Onassis, Citizen Kay and many more in a prolific performing history.

Their live shows bring a high octane energy influenced by groups such as Odd Future & their biggest musical influence Kanye West. An energy and vibe that is rare to see from a local act. The duo plan on touring Australia and internationally with both headlining and support shows along with festivals.

The bands recent signing with Human Records will see the hip/hop duo producing 2 feature length albums this year and into 2015 plus a swag of singles/EP’s with features from a range of big names in the local hip hop scene. They are currently touring in support of these 2 new albums, check the website below for more videos and expect more dates and national shows to come.
