360 Utopia Tour Supports Announced

The time has come to announce the supports that will complete the lineup for 360’s UTOPIA National Tour – Sixty’s first headline tour in over two years. In his own words: “I’m stoked to have some of my favourite MC’s from Australia and around the world joining me on this tour”.

Hopsin (USA): “The whole thing that got me here was controversy” – Hopsin’s survival mechanisms have guided him through life. As a youth placed in Special Education classes, Hop overcame the obstacles to become a video editor, music producer in addition to rapper.
Raised on the music of Eminem and 50 Cent, Hop studied how to engage fans, both with sharp lyricism and careful branding. He is also co-founder of the low profile indie-powerhouse Funk Volume, currently with 260,000 YouTube subscribers and 415,000 Facebook Likes. Boasting 2 million Facebook fans and 785,000 YouTube subscribers, this XXL Freshman is at the top of his class. While controversy may have made Hopsin a star, skill and courage made him a fan favorite. Whether making art in his basement, crowd-surfing or skiing Down Under, Hopsin has the attitude and charisma that makes Hip Hop unpredictable again.

Pez: 360’s long term collaborator and Forthwrite Records partner, PEZ will be hitting the road with his best mate for the UTOPIA Tour, bringing his own swag of hits including the chart topping ‘Festival Song’ (featuring none other than 360). PEZ is not like other hip hop artists, with his laid back nature, ever-present smile and genuine demeanor. But when his music -rich with soul searching honesty, gritty melody and traditional hip-hop ethics is heard, the distinction is even clearer.
Following the success of ‘The Festival Song’ (which peaked at #14 on the ARIA Australian Singles chart, #1 on the AIR singles chart and hit #7 on the Triple J Hottest 100 in 2008), touring took hold, and PEZ saw himself playing to massive crowds at festivals and selling out rooms all over the country. As well as joining Sixty on stage for Gold selling hit single ‘Live it Up’ and more, P-EASY is going to bring the party.

Miracle: To understand a miracle, you have to experience one. The same goes for up-and-coming Sydney MC / producer Miracle. The 20-year-old’s hip-hop is, he admits, tricky to define. So imagine a hyper Aussie fusion of hip hop, R&B, dance and alternative sounds, listen to Miracle’s latest street mash- up, The iLLER EP and club banger single Party of the Year, and you’ll get it! Sans definition however, it is feel good music that will win over fans of Kanye West, Gym Class Heroes, Tinie Tempah and everything in-between. Born in Ghana, West Africa, Blessed Samuel Joe Andah came into the world with much to fight for, struggling to survive intense respiratory complications as an infant. His mother appealed to a higher power and he won the fight. “I almost died, but my Mum prayed so hard that I was spared”, he recalls. “So Mum called me her Miracle baby!” and hence his hip-hop moniker was birthed.

Lunar C (UK): Featuring on 360’s ‘Sixavelli’ single, Lunar C is coming to Australia to spit those bars live as well as perform his own set on the September UTOPIA Tour. Lunar C has come a long way since becoming the UK’s most infamous battle rapper of recent years, following his undefeated run in the UK’s #1 battling league, Don’t Flop. Now with 100,000+ fans across social networks, millions of views on Youtube, having had his videos play listed across TV, his self released debut EP “Good Times and Dead Brain Cells,” reaching #25 on the iTunes chart, #2 in the Hip Hop chart (only beaten by Drake) and the highest new entry in the Official UK Urban chart that week, there can be no doubt Lunar C is on a hype.

360 featuring Gossling*: 360 has continued to evolve and stay at the forefront of his game. With his third album ‘UTOPIA’ debuting #2 on the ARIA charts, Sixty has created a unique world of hip-hop, with elements of pop, rock and dance; a brilliant and ambitious display of influences that come together seamlessly to pave a musical journey through his deepest, darkest imagination.
Helen Croome, better known by her stage-name Gossling will join Sixty on stage to perform his four times platinum hit ‘Boys Like You’ as well as current radio smash ‘Price of Fame’ from his latest chart-topping UTOPIA album.

*Gossling will not be performing on the Perth leg of the UTOPIA Tour.
