In-demand DJ and producer Jayteehazard unleashes ‘Red Shift‘, the title track from his forthcoming second EP ‘Red Shift‘, out March 6. As premiered by Earmilk.

With several high profile hip hop production credits to his name (Hilltop Hoods, Briggs), his solo work takes on more electronic influences. Red Shift sees him employ his trademark heavy-hitting percussion, hook-laden vocal chops and soaring arpeggiated synths, expertly glued together by glorious and booming sub-sonics. Jayteehazard’s nuanced ‘sample like’ instrumentation sets him apart from his peers, injecting complex dynamics rarely heard in electronic music.

He builds upon his acclaimed production work on debut EP Cold Blue and remixes for the likes of Hermitude. ’Red Shift’ was mixed by Diplo collaborator and Grammy-nominated engineer/producer Franklin Rodríguez aka El Medico.

The ‘Red Shift‘ EP is out March 6 on Elefant Traks. Available on limited edition red & black vinyl and on iTunes.
