Seth Sentry Premieres New Single Hell Boy

Announces Strange New Past Album Details

Following its maiden spin on triple J’s 2015 with Richard Kingsmill, Seth Sentry’s brand new single Hell Boy is officially in the ear holes of the people. Hell Boy will be joining its brothers and sisters on Seth’s eagerly awaited sophomore record Strange New Past, out Friday, June 5 on High Score Records via Inertia.

Hell Boy is the second warning shot fired from the impending record, and following on in a similar suit to Run, explores the trials and tribulations of a younger Seth Sentry, one whose decision making faculties may not have been fully developed.

Production-wise, the track is more elaborate, more technical and more schizophrenic than anything we’ve previously heard from him. Content-wise, Sentry bears it all, delving into tales of misadventure and mischief from the depths of his wildest imagination.

Strange New Past is the first of its kind from the hip hop savant since 2012’s This Was Tomorrow, the critically acclaimed LP that debuted at number 6 on the ARIA charts. Strange New Past was written and recorded in Melbourne with Seth being joined by habitual collaborator Styalz Fuego at The Base studios in South Yarra.

Pre-orders of Strange New Past will be available both physically and digitally on Friday, May 8 via with both Hell Boy and Run as instant tracks and a host of Seth gear on offer.
