REMI reveals first track from new Mixtape

REMI reveals “Weirdos (From Planet HOB)” – the first track from the forthcoming new ‘free’ Mixtape

Following the incredible success of the multi-award winning album ‘Raw X Infinity’, today REMI has revealed the first track and full track-listing of the forthcoming free Mixtape ‘Call It What You Want’ (F.Y.G. ACT:2).

This first taste, a track titled ‘Weirdos (From Planet HOB)’, again consolidates the young Melbourne MC REMI and musical collaborator Sensible J’s growing reputation as a formidable forward-thinking creative duo with something important to say.

”Weirdos (From Planet HOB) is basically about feeling like an outsider in whatever circumstance you’re in, I think a lot of people can relate to that”.

The complete track-listing for the mixtape was also released today on REMI’s bandcamp page and continues to build the intrigue as to what the full collection will sound like.

“The new mixtape is a super eclectic collection of sounds and influences that kind of represents a heap of the different things we listen to. Certain tracks on there will no doubt surprise a lot of people, but we think that’s a good thing”.

‘Call It What You Want (F.Y.G. ACT:2)’ drops next Thursday the 14th May as a completely free download through REMI’s bandcamp page.

As announced last week, REMI will be celebrating the release of the mixtape with a select handful of Australian club shows in June hitting Brisbane, Melbourne and Adelaide along with his Come Together festival appearance in Sydney. Fellow ‘House of Beige’ compadre and party-starter Hau (of Koolism) will also be coming along for the ride in support of his new single Kill.I.Am.

This will be the last chance to see REMI in Australia before he heads to Europe and the UK for a series of high-profile summer festivals and headline club shows.
