2014’s HTH initiative winner I AM D, has literally not stopped working since taking home the coveted accolade early last year. Since then he has released 3 EP’s, all have been super dope. Made 3 videos, and supported acts such as Xzibit, Ghostface Killah, Watsky Thundamentals and The Funkoars. I AM D is now set to release another EP early next month.
Girls In The City is the first single to be heard from the new EP titled Hands Tied To The Sky and is expected drop around June 29. The new single is produced by Cookin’ Soul and has been described as a celebration of all the amazing females out there who make the world go round.
The video, produced by Alter Ego Visuals and Four Ice Media has I AM D schmoozing around Brisbane. Here he asks a number of heads to peep his new single and let him know their thoughts. Which we all thought was a very cool concept for a video. It’s been nothing but hard work and good music from this young emcee, we look forward to big things from D.
