Late last week, the crew at Bethesda Games announced that Fallout Shelter is now available worldwide for download for Android devices, and includes new game updates which are also on the Apple App Store.
Following its June debut on the App Store, Fallout Shelter achieved global success as the top downloaded game in 48 countries and the top downloaded app of any kind in 25 countries, surpassing Candy Crush as the App Store’s number three top-grossing app in the United States.
The new update to Fallout Shelter on both platforms includes:
New threats to Vault Dwellers, including burrowing Mole Rats and enraged Deathclaws – likely attracted by the sound of new construction. New robot character, Mister Handy, a premium reward, which can be used to collect resources inside Vaults, sent into the wasteland to collect caps, or defend the Vault from creatures and disasters, including new Deathclaw invasions and Molerat infestations.
