Side of Stage is a new, national initiative conceived by Hilltop Hoods and now proudly led by CanTeen to give young people affected by cancer special access to live music shows across Australia.
The project is currently being developed thanks to funds raised through a partnership with Google and Hilltop Hoods. For every fan who listens to their latest album on Google Play Music using the link at the end of their new interactive film, Google and Hilltop Hoods will donate $1 to CanTeen.
Side of Stage will be open to young people aged 12-25 whose lives are currently being turned upside down by cancer, whether it’s their own or a close family member’s diagnosis or the death of a loved one.
Hilltop Hoods are committed Ambassadors and, alongside CanTeen, are calling on the music industry to join and support Side of Stage by providing free tickets to gigs, festivals and performances across Australia. We’d like to thank TEG, Universal Music Australia, Cattleyard, Lunatic Entertainment and Blue Max Music who have already come on board to support the project.
