New Sydney-based hip-hop artist, Imcpayne, has just unveiled his debut single ‘Therapy’ – recorded and produced by Michael McGlynn (L-FRESH The LION, Little May) and the rapper himself at Vienna Studios, Sydney.

Payne describes the creative process and motivation behind ‘Therapy’ –
“It’s been a journey. From start to finish we put a lot into this track, sonically, lyrically and visually to bring something authentic and different to the table.”

‘Therapy’ is an eclectic and energetic slice of new-wave electronic hip-hop, showcasing Imcpayne’s style and staple influences. Taking cues from the likes of Joey Badass, Earl Sweatshirt and A$AP Rocky, the charismatic performer blends an array of slick flows and cadences, combined with hard-hitting trap-inspired production.

To coincide with the release of ‘Therapy’, Imcpayne will launch the track live at Rare Finds Sydney club night party held at OAF Gallery Bar on Saturday February 17 supporting Genesis Owusu, Juñor and Sarah Connor.
