GULLY PLATOON – The Great Divide

After a few days off, we are back with some huge news in the aussie hip hop scene. First off we see Gully Platoon. This outfit is the combined firepower of Pegz, Dialectrix, Joe New and DJ 2Buck, with production duties of the likes of Jase and Plutonic Labs. Drapht / Coalition Crew Tour Dates

Drapht’s festival run continues, as Coalition Crew is added to The Sounds Of Spring bill. Drapht’s run on Australia’s biggest festivals continues as the Perth MC beefs up his upcoming itinerary with stints at this year’s massive (and sold out) Splendour in the Grass, the Sounds of Spring Festival, and the Blueprint Festival! ILLY – Props and album launch

   You may have already seen this as Obese Records posted it on their Twitter account. It seems Illy’s new album, Long Story Short, has been well received by the aussie hip hop public and for quite a good reason. The album is banger, The Mercury Newspaper did a review, which you check out here. TripleJDools also gave it the thumbs up, could we see Scott Dooley return to the mike for another guest apperance? RALPH MAG x Aussie Hip Hop

  The June issue of Ralph Magazine has hit the stands and features Skryptcha, Dialectrix and Phrase, all suited up for the fashion section. It’s time to grab the latest issue of Mag. In this issue Fable of the Label (Dan Rule), profiles the mighty Aussie Hip Hop giant, Obese Records.
